Well, he finally did it! After 11 years with the white F150, Trey bought a new F150. After several days of truck hunting, he finally found one he liked...it was no easy process.

I think the girls LOVE the new truck more than Trey, simply because of the DVD player with wireless headphones that they can watch in the backseat. Last Saturday, Andrew had a baseball game and it was FREEZING outside (funny, it was 85 today), so they got to sit in the truck and watch a movie. Hmmmm...not a bad deal.
Right after Trey bought the truck, I came home from work one day, pulled into the garage and came in to start dinner. After about 5 minutes, I realized the girls were nowhere to be seen or heard so I asked where they were....
"In the truck, in the driveway, watching a movie," was the reply!
Last weekend we went to dinner with Mimi and Papa and on the way home, Paige was fully engrossed in Shrek 2 (even though we were only 10 minutes from home). She realized we were not that far from home and told Trey, "Drive slow so I can see more of my movie." Trey quickly told her we weren't that far from home, to which she replied, "I know so take a long cut so I can watch this."
We both cracked up...and took a longer route home!
Besides the beloved DVD player, it is a well-deserved and much-earned buy for Trey...and for Travis, as well. As soon as he learns to drive stick, he will be given the keys to the truck instead of his current vehicle, a Saturn which has served him (and hopefully his brother) well.
So, dad is back riding in style...but no more "white in a knight truck"....
