This is the first time in 4 years that we had all the kids on Christmas Eve - I was determined to make the most of it, so we decided to take advantage of some family time...and the snow, so we headed up to the Sandia snowplay area with sleds and hot cocoa. I think the car ride was longer than the actual time spent sledding (it was bitter cold), but we had fun anyway.

I've fallen and I can't get up!
Ready, set...go!
Somehow they know when I am going to take the picture and they hide!
Yay-when can we come again?!Then we came home and did some Christmas baking... even Trey got in on it and had the best decorated Christmas cookies of all - who knew!

In the evening, we were off to Richard and Arian's for Christmas Eve with Aunt, Uncles and Cousins...

Pretty Girls!

Boys that don't want their pix taken!

And then we went to Mimi and Papa's for our traditional family Christmas Eve - what fun with family, presents, posole, guacomole, ham and other good eats! I think the girls were more excited about their new cousin Mia than about presents (which is how it should be). We all love spending this time together as a family and feel truly blessed to have so many of our loved ones here with us, but we miss those that are not here.

And then, home to bed while visions of sugarplums (or Barbie houses) danced in our heads. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
